Sri Lanka Family Adventure — 12 Days
Shorter drives, more swimming, elephants, a train, a cooking class and beaches that are safe to swim in. Built with children between…
10 days / 9 nights · Private tour
Fewer places, better rooms, longer mornings. A tea bungalow, a colonial fort hotel and a beach villa, with the driving kept short and private.
Trip highlights
The mistake most honeymoon itineraries make in Sri Lanka is trying to fit in everything. Ten days can be seven hotels and a lot of car, or it can be four beautiful places with time to actually enjoy them. This is the second one.
We use small properties rather than resorts: a wetland lodge in the Cultural Triangle, a genuine planter’s bungalow in the tea hills with a butler and a wood fire, a fort hotel in Galle behind 350-year-old walls, and a private villa near Tangalle. If you want to move up to the island’s very best hotels, we can — tell us the budget and we will show you exactly what changes.
Flowers on the bed on arrival, a cake at some point, and a dinner on the sand on whichever night you choose. We do not make a performance of it. We just make sure it happens.

Questions
Yes — on a beach, in a tea garden or in a temple courtyard, with a celebrant, photographer and flowers. Legal marriages in Sri Lanka are also possible for foreign nationals but need documents lodged around a month ahead. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will send the checklist.
Yes. Your guide is there for the driving and the sightseeing you ask for, and disappears the rest of the time. Several of the nights on this trip have nothing scheduled at all, deliberately.
