Ceylonara Ceylonara Tour Explore Sri Lanka

Terms & Conditions

Template terms. Have these reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Sri Lankan travel law and with the consumer law of your main source markets before you rely on them.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to tours and travel arrangements booked with Ceylonara Tour. By paying a deposit you accept them on behalf of everyone in your booking.

2. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 14 days and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Prices are based on the hotels, vehicle type and group size stated in your itinerary. If any of those change, the price changes.

3. Booking and payment

A deposit confirms your booking and allows us to hold hotels and services. The balance is due as stated on your invoice. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and we have written to confirm it.

4. Cancellation by you

Cancellation charges apply on a sliding scale set out in your booking confirmation, reflecting the amounts we have already committed to hotels and suppliers on your behalf. Some services, including certain hotels and internal flights, are non-refundable from the moment they are booked; we will always tell you which.

5. Changes

We will make reasonable changes to a confirmed itinerary where we can. Changes made close to travel may incur supplier charges.

6. Changes or cancellation by us

Occasionally we must change an itinerary because of weather, road conditions, park closures, political events or supplier failure. We will offer the closest available alternative. Where a national park closes, an equivalent park is substituted.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding a valid passport, obtaining the correct visa or ETA, arranging comprehensive travel insurance including medical cover and repatriation, and being fit to undertake the activities in your itinerary. We strongly recommend insurance and will ask you to confirm you have it.

8. Liability

We act as an organiser of travel services and take reasonable care in selecting suppliers. We are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, civil unrest, strikes or the acts of third parties.

9. Complaints

If something is wrong during your trip, tell your guide or message our office immediately so that we can fix it while you are still here. Complaints raised after you return are far harder to resolve.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka.
